Pairing different size RAM kits

Hi All

I’ve got an 2x4GB kit of Teamgroup Vulcan T-Force and a 2x8GB kit of Teamgroup Vulcan NightHawk. Both kits have the same C16 timings and 3200 frequency. I’ve got both installed in an MSI B450 Tomahawk. The XMP profile is the same for both kits. Is this pairing likely to throw up any problems or hit performance at all? Everything seems to be working fine.

Is that with a 2nd or 3rd gen Ryzen?

Should be fine so long as you have them paired up correctly 4848 ect.

Thanks. That’s how they’re set up. Bought the 8GB kit by mistake. I was planning to sell it but when the 16GB kit turned up I realised the timings were identical.
