Trying to play Hitman blood money but when I put the game in it says that the game does not support PAL 50 and to use PAL instead. I've tried changing the setting in the system/console/display area but can't specifically set the refresh rate.

I'm using a 360 with a component cable set to 720p but really having no luck. Anybody got any ideas for this? Cheers.

Stick the original composite cable in first, go to display settings and set to PAL 60 then turn off the console and re-attach your component cable and Bobs your uncle.

I had the same problem using HDMI, this worked.

Ah OK this might work - I'll post it here just in case someone else finds it useful.

"The solution is to turn off your Xbox 360, change the switch on the video cable from HDTV to TV and then turn back on. This usually involves digging out the video block, connecting it up and finding a scart input to your TV. Now you can access the PAL settings to make the change to 60Hz. Then you can unplug all your cables and put it back as it was!"

Use the composite bit to set it to 60Hz then go back to component. Bit of a stupid way to have to sort it but it's the only way I'm aware of.

Cheers MightyTen, didnt see your post there but that works. You can just switch the component cable from HDTV to TV and it works that way too. Bit of an annoying bug that they could do with clearing up really!
