Pal SNES & RGB

Hi all,

I got an RGB lead for my PAL SNES (not yet moddeD) and notice I get a bit of an odd picture through RGB.

The colours aren't solid for some reason. This doesn't happen on the RF cable although obviously picture quality isn't as sharp through that.

Is there something wrong here or is it the cable or my TV?

what model of tv is it and does it have a RGB enabled scart input normally only 1 scart input is RGB compatible .

Found this too maybe there is some answer to the problem.

It's an older Samsung 42" Plasma but I don't get this if I connect Satellite TV through SCART. It's definitely the RGB port.

Looking at those posts it definitely seems that cable issues are common. I'm hoping it isn't the console (I can't see it being the problem in all honesty as I'd expect far worse things to be happening with an internal fault). I'll see if I can try another cable from somewhere I think. Annoying!

Binggo, yes that link looks like my problem... Now to figure out how I'm going to mod the cable (if that's even doable with no csync on PAL). I have a Samsung TV so it looks like a match for my issue.
