Palit 580 GTX

Hi there,

Just ordered another 580 GTX as shown below to match my existing one and run SLI.

I've been sent one with two fans as opposed to the vapour chamber? What is the deal with that?

The one advertised on the site shows clearly a vapour chamber and would match my existing card.

Do I have cause to return and ask for a vapour chamber replacement version?

Will this work in SLI with my original card or is a waste of time to try?

BTW - the image verification system on the forum to create an account is outrageous. I failed about 6 attempts and then thankfully remembered my old password!!!!

LOL honestly I think I had the same problem with some site recently, not sure if it was this one. I might've gone through the same thing.

I agree those things are terrible. I've got 20 20 vision and struggle with the damn things sometimes, so god knows what it's like for someone with bad eyesight.

Yeah it will work in SLI fine, I'd of thought getting a better cooler model would be a bonus tbh, I think all of the GTX5xx series cards have vapour chamber technology regardless of the cooler.
