I bought one of these a while back from OC. Will remove it from the 2nd machine I have but does anyone know what the fan size is for a like to like replacement?

The card looks like this one:-

XQx5Iin4BCJbEVyzC5FD9GCspIJUtuPxEXMJgbrq8wDDEnU3SFh5VFiO5mrjgj7xxU9jsX-8_0eIE5urbT88YQtNtZLHJUmV7lbXn3knftsnItH5Eqz4T3KnAOvECAw

The fan had seized up - had got it working with some WD40 but is running rough and needs to be replaced.

Thanks

What about using a ruler to measure the blade diameter?

Anyway I grabbed my 4890 from my drawer and compared the size of that fan with the one in the Palit picture and it's pretty close. My 4890 has a 74mm fan blade diameter so would be an 80mm fan.

If that shroud comes off you could just strap an 80mm fan of your choosing to the heatsink and it would be fine.

No problem to measure - need to take the card out first (trying to avoid) - in case if someone knew. Ill rip it out later and see if I can get a fan asap as this one is busy going bad.

Ok, for anyone needing to do the same - the fan is closer to 70mm, I think 80mm would be too big. Ive lubricated the bushes (not bearings) of the fan with some CV Moly Grease, quiet again now but will get a replacement at some stage.
