Palit GTS 250, not working.

You need to be a lot more specific on what the problem is.

Does it power up/get to windows or artifact when in use.

Whats the full spec of you setup, including PSU make, model and wattage :)

That board should run any PCI-E x16 card.
 
i have a JeanTech 500 Watt ATX psu with 6pin PCIe supply, the machine posts as the usb keyboard lights up when the controllers load on post. i just have no video output, the monitor doesnt come on. I have tried it in both the d-sub and dvi outputs. i put back in my old 8600GT and it works fine.

the fan on the gts spins up but that about all i get.
 
If possible try the 250 in another PC. If it works fine try the 250 in your PC with a different (better) PSU than the JeanTech.

All this assumes you know someone with a decent ish PC who doesn't mind you "borrowing" bits of it ;)
 
right i've sorted it now lol. i gave it one last shot and plugged in the psu 6pin pcie power and used a molex to 6pin adaptor that came with the card and it now works. i feel like such a tool. lol.

these cards suck some juice.
