Has anyone ever replaced the stock cooling setup on a Palit card before, I did a google search and can see that people have done this, but more interested if there's any issues if the card needs to be RMA'd. I'm tempted to get the 240mm AIO cooler off OCUK, but wont bother if it means an RMA could be refused.

Main reason for wanting to change it is that I can keep the card at 75 degrees with it OC'd to 2049mhz, but the fan needs to be at 100%, which is too loud, so thinking an AIO would keep it cooler and be a load quieter.

Have you just tried cleaning it up and reapplying the TIM? Some cards I've seen look like they've been assembled by 5 year olds.

Plus if you do go AIO route I think a 120mm is more than enough for 150w.

Not gotten to that yet no, I'll have to check if the screws have stickers or seals on them before I do that. Not sure what Palit are like for TIM application, I've heard that GPU's in general can be hit and miss though.

The 1070ti is 180w too, it's same power consumption as the 1080 cards. I was linked to OCUK having a deal on their kits for £99 which seems like 'okay' value, as I figure I wont be changing this card for a couple of years at least.
