PALIT RTX 3070

Afternoon everyone!

New to the OC forums, but wanted to ask a quick question. Why do the pictures for the Palit 3070 triple card show a copper/brown backplate? Other websites show the backplate as being black. Sorry for the weird question, it's just that the all black design looks a lot better but unsure which website has the right colour.

Question has come up a couple of times - the thinking seems to be (unconfirmed) pre-production versus production model differences and people who've received them have had black so far.

Mine's black too. I'd be surprised if there are any different ones.

I've a Gainward 3090 (PNY/Palit/Gainward are one and the same), and my back plate is the copper/brown colour you describe.

this card design looks kinda weird. effective tho. it's a real chonker!
is it a 3080 cooler slapped on a 3070?
the cooler is massive, and extends the length of the card significantly, not sure if the last 1/3rd of the heatsink is actually doing anything useful xD
had to hack my case to bits to get this bad boy in there but it's in now.
card is basically twice as fast as a 1070. pretty nuts.
looking forward to cyberpunk. and ray racing in WoW (lul)

Enjoy! It’s an extraordinary upgrade from my old 1070. Coming from a 960 you’ll be astonished!
