Hi all.
I have little problem with my card. I don't know maybe someone have more experience or knowledge in this subject than I do. The problem is that since I fit the 3080 in my pc occasionally my pc i rebooting. I noticed that when I will undercloock slightly gpu there is no problem at all. My pc is no ultra high end gaming pc so this is not something that I will notice in the game (only 50Mhz lower). The question is if this is problem with the card or something that could be potentially fixed by bios update or drivers? I'm using the latest drivers atm.

Do you have two individual 8 pin power cables connected, or did you use one of those that splits into two cables at the end?

Based on a seasonic design gold rated, so should be OK.

Do you have any gpu monitoring, such as msi afterburner going on? If so were the gpu temps high when it crashes?

Is it crashing in certain games, only when under load? Or randomly at any time?

No temp is ok no higher than 70C. Sometimes crush just on windows booting, sometimes in any game launch. Just randomly. When I lower the GPU clock by 50Mhz the problem never came back.
I am using ThunderMaster to monitor GPU.

Hmm was this a new build? If not, what was your GPU before this?

Did you do a full uninstall of the previous drivers before putting the new GPU in?

This is not new build. Before there was gtx 1080, for a week 2080. I didn't have problems like that. Also I did full uninstall drivers.

If that psu is based on the focus series then high transient spikes cause this issue and is why they were discontinued. I had this issue with my 650w unit and ur was replaced and upgraded as part of the RMA.

Did you download and run the Bios updater that Palit have on their website.
If you run with 50mhz underclock and it works fine, it sounds like the factory setting/overclock was too much to be stable.
Hopefully if they released a new bios for your card it will fix it.
Otherwise keep the 50mhz underclock, or even look at undervolting to save you some power draw adn maybe it will give you better performance and stability
