Palit??

Been looking for GTX1050Ti as a stop-gap upgrade until I can gather enough funds for a new build. This one caught my eye but for the life of me I've never heard of "Palit". I generally stick to manufacturers I know. Are these worth a go, anyone with any experiences with them, good or bad?

My basket at Overclockers UK:

• 1 x Palit GeForce GTX 1050Ti StormX 4096MB PCI-Express GDDR5 Graphics Card= £134.99

I would be using it to replace a Radeon HD6850/1gig (7 years old iirc)

Also how difficult is it to get rid of the old Radeon drivers and switch to NVidia??​

Had a Palit gamerock 1080 in my rig since launch, no problems here.
Just run DDU to get rid of the old drivers.

Generally speaking the pascal Palit cards have been a bargain and good clockers out the box, also really strong cooler reviews on the 1080s at least I think (unless memory fails me).

So yeah good kit, not a ‘risky’ brand if that’s the question.

I guess in essence that was is what I asking. I know choosing any piece of hardware is always subjective, a balance between the head, heart and bank balance. I just didn't want to be posting a post-buy thread, only to discover every man and his dog says avoid them like the plague. Until I'd seen them on the OCUK site I'd never heard of them.
