My cheap Logitech LS1 performs very poorly in games, its not precise and I never feel am in control of it.
My endless gaming hours are long gone but I still game 1-hours a day so I decided to look for a decent gaming mouse as I have never owned one.
Am talking about something at the price range of 40Euros.

After some extensive searching in various sites I seem to be a Palm user. My palm rests on the mouse, and my pinky finger is always rubbing along my desk. My hands are medium sized i think.

I ve ended up with 5 potential mouse choices and want some opinions from you guys:

CM Storm Spawn - Seems like a very decent choice but they keep mentioning is a claw mouse. Will I get used to it easily if I change my style to claw?
CM Storm Inferno - Better than the spawn but a bit off for my price range. Also the left side keys look like they are too far back for my thumb.
LOGITECH G400 - Looks like to be the best choice overall. The side keys seem to be reachable. Any experience on this from palm users?
Genius GX-Gaming Maurus - A very nice mouse but reviews say it might be too "light".
Cyborg R.A.T.3 - Fancy mouse, a bit more expensive, and seen too much comments about it dying early.

What i definitely need are at least 2 extra programmable buttons and I don't need it to be wireless at all.

Any ideas? Would be very appreciated.

The Spawn (I have a Xornet) is a little bit unusual. It's relatively flat and wide. It's mainly fingertip grip. And I believe it is discontinued.

IMO you can't go wrong with the G400. It's a classic shape, that's been tried and tested for almost ten years, and has had very little modifications (I still have a MX510, and a MX518, nice mice).

If you want a palm grip mouse, basically something on which you can rest your hand, that's what I'd go for. There are many others though. I've used a Qpad 5K, which I use at work now, and it's very comfortable too.

How about the inferno? I was almost sure about the G400 but now am having second thoughts about me being a palm instead of a claw grip user.

How about a rat 7 , thats the same way I use a mouse and found my little finger dragging got a bit uncomfortable after a while , but with my rat 7 it has a pinky rest . Also 3 different size palm rests . IT is so comfy to use compared to my old mouse , the pinky rest is great

Looks like a sick mouse, but at 85e its way over what I wanna give on something I might actually dislike in a week.
