Do I look at anything else?

Had a set of Circulon saucepans for around 12/13 years now - been bomb proof and very well used. Looking to get a new set as there are a few cracks on the handles and a few marked up fairly bad.

Should I look at anything else? Or stick with Circulon.

Gas hob, don't need frying pans etc - Just a set of saucepans.

Budget - Up to £150/200

I bought a set of Procook Elite Triply saucepans and have to say they are brilliant. The triply manufacture really does heat up quickly and keeps the heat spread even across the base.

For reference I use an induction hob.

Currently over budget but I got a 4 piece set of Le Creuset 3-Ply Stainless Steel and they are fantastic, they do a 3 piece set that comes on sale every now and then that you may be willing to stretch the budget for.

quick google is on preorder at a cookshop (never heard of them personally ) with stock due next week for £250 - https://seasoncookshop.co.uk/produc...3XCBZVbaLrBjo14esidHffkcE5KnlfcBoCvy4QAvD_BwE

I always suggest Vogue stainless pans, they're very well made and relatively cheap.

We use them in a professional capacity and they each last 3-4 years being used 5-25 times a day.

Keep in mind that includes going through a dishwasher/sanitiser as many times as they're used and on much higher BTU gas burners than most people have at home.

How are you looking after them? Mine are a few months old and beginning to stain on the outside. I've not cleaned them in the dishwasher yet, but considering it.
We don't have a dishwasher, just a bit of fairy and water with the other dishes and not had an issue, we always do the dishes straight away though and don't leave them sitting in the sink so don't if you do that or not.

I was bought a set of Starfrit pans for a birthday present about 5 years ago and I have to say I'd never have bought them myself but I can't fault them. The non-stick isn't sticky and despite me using really sharp metal implements in them and stacking them cack-handedly inside one another, the 'rock' finish hasn't chipped or worn off.

Depending on which pans they are, they could be covered by the Circulon lifetime warranty. We have a set of infinite frying pans where the non stick coating failed after about 5 years, couple of emails later and we had a new set in the post to us, didn’t ask for receipts.

I third or fourth any choice from ProCook. Great company, sell really good stuff and have a 20% off sale at the moment.

Add another procook vote here. Our set must be over 15 years old now and still going strong. They've never gone in the dishwasher though: we have an old style with rubberised handles that aren't dishwasher safe. Come up clean with just a sponge - never needed to use anything more aggressive than that.

checkout richdogs definitive thread on the Procook Elite - which are what I'll buy if the current ones give up, or have to get an induction hob.

Anodised pan staining Don't all anodised pans stain on the outside matt'ish surface stellar 6000 I have, have done.

Had a circulon pro fry pan with the distinctive concentric ridged surface - posted pictures on it before - fat/oil burned into the ridges and it became ineffective over year or so.
I'm sure they would say misused and reject any warranty claim ... a waste of money.

From the two you've just linked, I'm not a fan of non-stick coatings for saucepans. Tri ply is nice but I'm not sure it's worth the premium for most people, the standard ("professional") procook stainless steel ones look fine if you must buy a set.

Agreed, Vogue stuff is great value.
