Panasonic 43 Inch TX-43FX550B any good?

If it's anything like the 650B I would say avoid it like the plague, the default picture setting has a horrible green tint to it so I've had to mess with white balance, also you can see horizontal lines at points across the screen where the brightness/contrast is slightly different at anything other than maximum backlight setting which stands out most on vertical scrolling scenes - I've just set backlight to maximum to get rid of it. Even with all that tweaking there is some visible DSE and inconsistent picture when watching football. Their 750B is excellent I would recommend it to anyone but the 650B is poor.

The 750b is good, but its twice the price and a 49'', If your not in a rush wait for the new range of Tv's they are going back to VA panels so should be better for HDR and black levels compared to the current IPS panels.

Probably rubbish like most of Panasonic's budget TVs. My parents have one from a few years back and the picture quality and "smart" OS are abysmal. Doesn't matter to them but it's not what I'd have expected from Panasonic at all.
