I had to replace my sons normal PS4 this week and so bought him a PS4 Pro.

Also got him a firecuda 2TB HDD to boot.

Got it all up and running and setup ark which he likes to play, high detail and HDR in the Options menu. Loaded up his solo mode and was frankly blown away by the colour and to be fair good level of details.
The colours were just excellent and even the blacks were better, i was amazed at what a difference the colours were compared to both the pcs.
So much so ive looked around at HDR monitors and tvs for my self, may hook up a lead from pc to tv and try out how the pc looks on there too.

I have that Panasonic 58DX802B TV and the ps4 pro looks stunning. Gaming is brilliant and fast. Colours are great. Horizon looks amazing! Need to buy me GOW now to see how that looks.

I hooked the AW laptop in it and it does great as well, although does only 4k 30fps unfortunatelly laptop has HDMI 1.4 sigh...

Other than that I hate the TV for SD quality and even Sky Cinema and streaming it does a weird artifact distortion when in deep black and low bitrate that reminds me what my Galaxy note 1 used to do on low bitrate and black scenes. Also mine has horrible flashlight bleed effect and you can see that on dark scenes and the credits. Changed the TV once because of this but still. I will swap this tv once OLED is more approachable. I really miss my plasma TV that died...

Tried my pc connected to it tonight and it was very hard work.
Think the cable i used may not have helped (guessing) as i couldnt get 4k @60hz to work at all.
HDR was on at 30hz in bf1 but didnt wow me at all.
Ark on pc seems to not work correctly with hdr and the option isnt available like it is on PS4 pro, read its not in the pc version presently (working version)

Need to put pc at side of tv with a better quality lead maybe and then test 4k again @ 60hz

The Ax802b I have upstairs always had amazing picture when it is bright and 4k 60 over dp but dayum when TV shows are dark you can tell its only left and right edge lit from the blurry mess in the darkness left and right centre. Great for very high quality source material but awful for sd and HD stuff
