Afternoon,

I noticed on Hot UK Deals this camera was reduced to £159.99 at Argos so reserved one while they were still in stock.

Does anyone here have one or ever used one before? This will be my first camera that isn't a simple point and shoot. Is it worth the money as it is fairly old now? The reviews all look good but they are all several years old.

Great little camera. Had one for a couple of years. Compact and lightweight and capable of fantastic image quality.

Wouldn't worry about it being 'old', you'd struggle to notice the difference in image quality from the G6.
 
Great camera for that price and just because its a couple of years old doesn't make it a bad camera. Buy it if you want one and enjoy!

Great, thanks! Will the 14-42 lens that its supplied with be good enough to begin with?
 
Picked the G3 up tonight. Seems like a lovely piece of kit. Just waiting for the battery to charge so I can have a play!
