Not sure if I'm in the right place but here goes.
I am having a problem with controlling the sound on my Sky Sound Box which is connected to my TV via HDMI.
After a very long discussion with a Sky technician, they decided that I should take the resolution down on my Sky Q box from 2160(UHD) to 1080(HD) and plug the HDMI cable into HDMI port 2 (ARC).
I did this and got no picture let alone sound control.
I then tried ports 1, 3 and 4 and was only able to get a picture on port 3
I then dropped the resolution down to 720 and got exactly the same result i.e. picture on Port 3 only.
So I am wondering if my TV is the problem.
I would do a factory reset on my TV if I knew how.
If anyone can give me some pointers that would be excellent.
