Panasonic remote no longer controls amp volume

I changed my amp from an Sony STR-DG820 to a Denon AVR-X2000. My Panasonic remote used to control the amp volume but no longer does. How can I get this functionality back?

You need to enable CEC, unsure how on that amp.

My Sky remote will control the volume of the amp, so I assume it's already enabled?

with my sony setup, I have to turn the tv on then the amp then the sky box. This works for the sky remote to control it all. If i dont do it that order then the amp wont change channel or volume with the sky remote.

Dunno if that works the same way with other amps.

Page 179 tells me to use the apps button. I don't have one on my remote.

Ignore, I've solved it, was a setting on the amp.

Now all I have to work out is to keep the TV on AV2 when I turn it back on.

I use 'hotel mode' to make my Panasonic start on HDMI 2.

Only change the initial input setting, don't touch any of the remote/button lock ones.
