Imagine the GM1 or GX850 that have been expanded like a balloon

I'd really wish they also launched a Micro Four Third camera too, wouldn't mind a GM1/GM5 or even a GX line camera with the new sensor and phase detect.

The S9 looks like a good camera but seems to be geared mainly towards videography, though it does have a 24MP sensor and is small enough to be a FF street camera.

Just watched a review of the pancake lens they launched with it. It must be the worst new lens I’ve seen in the last 30 years by a 1st party manufacturer.

26mm

Interesting focal length…but okay.

F/8

wtf…F/8 and ONLY F/8?

Manual focus

What? This day and age? Okay…if it’s to save space.

No distance meter/marking

So you want me to manual focus and don’t give me any markings to help.

No filter thread

So you are telling me, if I can’t stop down on a bright sunny day when at base ISO…and stuck at f/8….and won’t let me for a NF filter on?

Made of plastic

Whatever

£200

Joke…I’m sure a nifty fifty with f1.8 and plastic body and auto focus cost less….

If they want to compete with Fuji, the lens needs to be 35mm at f/2.8. Not at least like the 40/2.8 lens. Sure it’s thicker and more expensive than the Panasonic but actually usable.
