Trying to help my girlfriends family experience surround sound but currently they can only hear it when playing dvd's through it. I'm trying to play a movie from the laptop to their screen, so connecting the HDMI from the laptop to HDMI in.
Their current set up is HDMI out to TV, Skybox to tv also. On the TV, when going to the HDMI source, it works when the bluray is off, but once on, there's no picture.
Laptop > Bluray > TV I thought this would work, it's how it works for me at home!
