Panasonic SD900 what system to go with it ?

I get a phone call today from my dad. Turns out he has just got himself a HD video camera Panasonc SD900.

Please can somone advise what spec system he would want so he can edit his footage and have smooth playback etc, as hisis system is old and cant cope with the demads of full HD

He would like to get something from OcUK pre built so what would you recomend ??

If he's recording at 1920x1080/50p and wants to edit the video rather than say just burn it to a disc, then the fastest CPU (e.g. Core i7) he can afford, 8Gb+ ram and an SSD..
