Hi home cinema people :)

I'm going to move my room around which will cause me to have to wall mount my Panasonic TH37PX80. Has anybody wall mounted one of these before, if so could you let me know what mount you used? I don't need one that will twist etc (unless its around the same price then i might as well)

Also how do you know if the wall will be strong enough to hold the TV, the wall i want to put it on is the bathroom wall(obviously the other side not actually in the bathroom:p)

This is what I used for a Panasonic TXP42X10B, and it's more than up to the job with a max load of 80kg. My TV weighs 28kg iirc:

Very impressive for the money. It comes with all the fixings you need. I usually bin the rawl plugs that come with stuff like this and buy big hammer fixings, but the massive rawl plugs and bolts that come with this mount are more than adequate. I literally hung my entire weight and pulled against the wall plate before I put the telly onto it (I was paranoid it'd fall off the wall - no chance)!

Are you looking to mount into brick/block, or a plaster wall with studs?

I''ll be honest mate im not quite sure what the wall is.

I just used a screwdriver to make a hole in the wall to try find out and i managed to turn the screwdriver EASILY about a CM into the wall and then it hit something hard.

Well it sounds like you have a block/brick wall, which makes life easier. If the wall is plaster, it'll make a hollow sound if you hit it with the 'heel' of your hand.

Yeh i think there is about 1/2cm to 1cm of plaster with brick behind it, i also think it has to be a brick wall as its bascially a flat i live in and the bathroom wall goes across my bedroom....and there bascially a mirror image of my room above my room.
