Panasonic TH42PV500 Plasma TV

They are very highly recommended. It is now discontinued and has been replaced with the TH42PX60 of which I have just bought. Its a fantastic TV. The pictures from decent DVD's is extremely immersive and brings life to movies. I have found myself watching many old DVD's that I haven't watched for years. It brings life to old movies.

Put on some Hi-Def material to really show what it can do. Gladtiator in HD is simply stunning.

Thats a very good price. Is this a ex demo? You'll love the set by the way. I've gone through 2 LCD's and was not happy. This blows any LCD away IMO.

You won't be disapointed with the 42" PV500, I've got the 37" model and PQ is outstanding! Just remember to turn the settings down for it to run in! :)

!!!

There was an auction at the local de vere hotel (2mins from my house), its been on all weekend and i ran into parents yesterday and they had said they'd been down there. They had loads of tom tom 300s going for <£100 and one tv went for about £800 yesterday. So i headed down there today in the hope of snatching a few things and parents was after the tv. Some ****** turned out last minute bought up everything  couldnt afford to go much more on tv and these guys had spent like 8k by the end of the day

Gutted was brand new tv as well but got taken :( Think they does these auctions a lot so next time its mine!

Those sort of auctions sound like the typical dodgy ones where you end up with a black bin liner full of junk at the end.
