http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/tx-50ax802b-201405193778.htm *50 inch version essentialy the same

Went out looking for a new TV and my local retailer had one of these on special offer Ex display? for about 900 quid.

Anyone have any experience on the monster?

Its pretty old 2014 and it weighs approx 40 to 60 kg including stand... 65" screen. insane but?

Reviews say its a fantastic looking screen but naff sound, ungodly heavy by modern standards.

is the Panasonic OS crap? Does it have basic enough functions?

Any advice greatly requested as im looking to buy it within the next 48h assuming its still there.... when i go back.

I have the 50" version but I'm thinking of selling it and getting an oled now as I want HDR, it is a good tv the sound is actually not bad it has 4K Netflix but not 4K Amazon. 3D is good but as with most led screens they do suffer with backlight bleed. Personally for £900 you could have a current tv with all the latest features like HDR and more 4K hdmi inputs as that Panasonic only has one plus a DisplayPort

I had a 58" version and wouldn't recommend it.

It doesn't have HDR for a start, and it's edge lit led so I did have issues with white clouding.

I sold mine in October and bought a 65" B6v OLED

i love my 65 902 ( unsure of the differences) the media server is a bit clunky but works after about 3 attempts

I ended up getting the 55" LG oled. Even though it blew my budget out of the water.
After looking at 100s on display the oled just looks so much better. I'll never be able to watch normal led screens again.

Ypu should have held out for the new panna oled:) although im sure it will be as equally budget abusive.

I had a 50ax902 and if it worked properly it would have looked stunning. But it had massive "dirty screen effect" i now have a 55dx802 and its still not perfect image wise (it still has some dirty screen effect. And the veiwing angle is weak, if your not sat square on it looks pants.

You have made a good choise with the lg oled, they look very nice (at least in the shops, which is where i have seen them)

I personally am very interested in the new panna oled range tho

Enjoy
