Panel defect? Stuck pixels?

Hey,

I just took delivery of a new monitor and noticed what I thought was a smudge on the screen - turns out it doesn't clean off:

It doesn't look like any dead/stuck pixels I've seen before, more like something behind the panel. I got a good deal so wanted to try to fix it before sending it back. You guys seen anything like this before? Any advice?

from the pic it looks like bruising - not sure if there is anything you would be able to do about that.

It's stuck dust. It can't be removed without taking the panel apart and voiding the warranty.
Hazro's are plagued with it.

Yeah I thought it might be something stuck under the screen. Worth blowing some compressed air in there, try to shift it? Or just send it back? Shame as in all other respects its a nice monitor - and that mark is right at my eye level.
