Been messing with my new OcUK 24" monitor.

Scales really well and the drivers allow me to do 1:1 on my 8800GT.

Question is, is there any way to scale game by game?

That is, have some older games run 1:1 whilst still allowing newer games to scale down and fill the scrren.

e.g. Old golf game that i play a lot does not support widescreen, but it looks really nice at 1:1 (1280x1024) albeit a bit small.

If i then want to play Crysis, native res is too high, so i want this to run in 1680x1050 full screen. But i have to change the scaling option before i start.

Is there a way round this or am i expecting too much?
