Updated my iP4 to 7.1.2 today and JB'd it using Pangu 1.2. Fairly painless but although the first attempt did result in a fully jailbroken handset, the Cydia icon vanished for some strange reason after it rebooted the second time. A quick Google online revealed that this has happened to others and a full restore later followed by a second jailbreak procedure worked fine. Took all of 15 minutes.

Was a bit concerned to begin with given that there's not a huge amount of trusted sites singing Pangu's praises and when I searched here on the forums there's next to no mention of it at all. But I thought 'what the hell' - can always restore if there are any hassles plus it looks like 7.1.2 will be the last jailbreak I perform given that iP4's wont have iOS 8 support.

Anyone else here used Pangu?

Yes i did it too. It's been ok so far but I'm restoring it back to how it was before it was jailbroken as I'm not really gaining any benefit from the jailbreak.

I did it more out of curiosity than anything else. The only thing I've found I've used so far JB wise is Fiveicondock and SB Settings although SB Settings isn't as needed as it possibly used to be with the advent of Notification Centre.
