Pangya....Online Golf

Thought the game had been pulled by OGPlanet.

Went to play a couple of months ago and all the servers were down.

Such a shame, as it was a great free to play golf game.
 
Seemingly Tiger Woods 10 is going to be an online game on the PC, playable through your web browser.

Chances of it being free are slim to nil though!

NP. Would you let me know whether Pangya is worth downloading again? i.e. is there still a decent number of people playing the game.

I used to be addicted to this at one time.
 
Used to play a lot of it and actually was part of phoenix, the inaugural world cup winning team. But that was the beginning of the end. During the tournament hackers played havoc with the 3-4 playoffs.

Then servers in Brazil and South East Asia were closed down, and all their players and hackers moved to US server and the game became a farce. People were getting 18 hio's in a game and the community also got very aggressive.

If they have reopened hopefully they will work on the anti hacks more, but I wont be going back there in a hurry
 
Played a couple of 3 hole games there just to try things out.

Lots of people playing again, three servers up and running just now and two were full of players.

The games ran very smoothly, quick connects to the servers also.

The client took around 3 hours to download for myself.
It's an auto-resume download so doesn't need to be done in one sitting.
 
We could have a tournament, ran one for Enemydown once, was very successful, especially in vent cheering on the top 5-6 players (about 30+ of us)

Trying to merge my account, obviously didn't use my real DOB back then for some reason, and can't remember my secret answer 'Where were you born?' tried the town, 'hospital', the name of the hospital, help :(

The captcha systems seems broken, the phrase is allways a:2:{ yet never accepts it?
 
Registered yesterday. Just went to the main website and did the 1/2/3 thing (download rate was around 400k as well so not too bad).

In game as Macca if anyone wants to play. It's not a bad game in all honesty. The graphics are quite nice and cartoony.

Don't really like WGT as it just doesn't feel like a proper game and it's very slow. I much prefer Pangya just because it has a proper client.
