Was just on my computer a few mins ago when i went to plug in my headphones and my computer suddenly turned off, I went to turn it back on but nothing happend, no fans, nothing on screen, so i opened the side of the case and tried turning on the board using the button on the actual mobo but nothing still.

I have no idea whats wrong and any help would be nice.

My setup:

XFX nvidia nforce 780i mobo

Intel quad q9550

XFX nvidia gtx 285

OCZ Gamexsteam 750watt PSU

OCZ reaper ddr2 800MHz ram

You won't be able to connect your GTX285 to that PSU but it should light the green LED on the mobo , if it wasn't lit before then it's
looks like PSU failure exactly like when my Corsair 620 failed

Edit, lol post above whilst I typed shows you have a light!

If it's a fuse then nothing lights up

I'm starting to think its somthing to do with mobo maybe i just fried it?

I have the same issue , I have the Asus P5QL SE mobo and when i turned it on it makes a very slight click and nothing else (occasioanly the fan will jerk ever so slighty, but that intermittent), when i opened her up (yeh its a she :) ) I noticed a green LED light on the board so i know its probably not the PSU.

Can anyone confirm this is mobo problem before i buy another one?

Sorry to hijack your thread, but i think we're in the same boat with this one.

well, ive stripped it of everything but the board and still the same problem, looks like ill be buying a new mobo this weekend, damn!
