OK i have absolutely no clue what these are, other than stickers obviously, but have somehow got landed with organising a swap meet with an emphasis on the world cup. Anyone with experience of these types of meets, I would appreciate a couple of pointers in how these are organised.

My current plan is "Hey, theres a table there, lets meet at 3pm and bring your stickers if you fancy."

Would that do it?

I would try bring a young child you know along as well, you don't want people to start talking.

I think he already qualifies.

in any event, clearly not an adult thing so probably going to be just a case of turn up with your stickers and swap under supervision. In a very circuitous, small dot on the horizon, barely can see way you have all been marginally helpful. Although on reflection, that depends on you being adults, which may be an error.

Just nominate a pub/time and sit at a table with your stickers piled up on it, that way any strangers won't suffer the embarrassment of asking everyone in the pub if they have any stickers to trade. :p

The landlord/parents/police are going to be very pleased when the 12 year olds arrive at said establishment. :p

Now you look like willys :D

Good luck

Well not really, it's still trying to organise something that kids have been doing themselves for years.

What next, supervised marbles? organised British Bulldog?

Let them get on with it as they always have :)

Ah as suspected the numbnuts have arrived. Its for a kids charity dimwit, so yes, i expect 12 year olds will be there. You should come along.

I'm not the one who has been landed with something they know nothing about, so who is the numbnuts?

:p

My advice would be buy several boxes of stickers, open them all, sort them out, then get a load of kids to come down and do the swaps etc for a few hours, at the end stand in the middle of them all and throw them all up in the air and shout "SCRAMBLE!", that's what we did as kids. :D :D

I'd also have several boxes of unopened packs and sell these to raise money for the charity.
