Pannier Advice

So, I managed to pick up a Givi Monokey pannier rack for £50 from the bay and would like some alu panniers that I can keep for touring as I progress through different bikes.
The Givi panniers seem quite pricey at about £550 a pair. Are there any other good brands I should be looking at (preferably cheaper) that will fit the rack?

Also, is riding with 1 pannier feasible or does it affect balance too much?

You should be able to get some Kappa panniers to fit Givi Monokey racks. Also if you can get some directly from Italy it can save a fair few pennies.

Good shout on the Italy suggestion. Can get a pair of Kappa K-Venture panniers for around £360...

Just remember when you have panniers on they are going to make your bike wider so be careful filtering.

Yeah that's why I'm contemplating using just 1 for work. Just worried it'll affect the balance (though I doubt it would be that noticeable)...?

Not sure riding with 1 pannier would be a good idea but maybe someone else has done so an can advise.

It's going to come down to what you end up putting in them really I don't imagine the pannier itself would make a massive difference but if you go loading it with a few kilos of kit it's going to make a huge difference to handling and may well catch you out if you forget about it.
