Can some-one please help this is starting to drive me up the wall.

SCREEN MIRRORING!!!

I just can't get it to work, I put it down to my Virgin Superhub 2 being gash so I went and bought an Asus AC88U router for £290 today and it still doesn't work.

I'm trying to screen mirror from a Samsung S7 and Surface Pro 4 tablet, both devices see the TV but won't connect or very rarely do.

The TV connect's to the internet fine, streams fine from the Surface Pro 4 just can't screen mirror, any idea's pro's?

WiDi is incompatible with the Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) feature used on some 5 GHz wireless networks. Technically WiDi does not require your laptop to be connected to a wireless access point in order for it to connect to a wireless display, but if you do need to be connected to a wireless network using DFS at the same time, this can pose a problem.There are two options to bypass this: Disable DFS on your wireless access points (usually the less preferable option), or set your Intel wireless adapter to prefer 2.4 GHz networks. The latter option will only be available if there are 2.4 and 5 GHz networks broadcast under the same SSID. I've tried both 2.5 and 5ghz wifi in every configuration.
