Panoramic view...

of several places in southern switzerland. There are only some shots, but in the site ( image adress ) you can see images at 360 degree in full screen. I and a friend of me we do the photos and a third person do the difficult but amazing technical side. And at the end ( long work ) you will have like a virtual tour.

I've never used a panoramic head for panos, just stand in one spot take a snap, turn slightly on the spot, take another with a 30% overlap. Rinse and repeat.

The biggest was 33 photos in Yosemite.

There are photoshop plugins that allow you to stitch overlapping photos together.
I guess that a panorama like this one is made with a panoramic head.
