I have just finished cleaning my Adidas World Cup boots for a charity new years day game tomorrow & noticed a split running along the lower right boot (I recon they are good for 1 or more games so no rush).

I have always owned world cups for the winter months & they have never let me down a pair will last a long time with the right treatment & dubbin applications . . .

So the dilemma, another pair of world cups or the Pantofola d'Oro Lazzarini Canguro Mixed (black) that have caught my eye:

or in brown:

I like the black more but my questions are: Has anyone owned a pair of these before? & how did they hold up/feel? - also has anyone had the mixed sole before & how does that compare as I currently have FG moulds for the summer & studs for winter.

Happy New Year :)

Billy Wright just called, he wants his boots back!

Seriously, no idea dude but they look interesting, you should considered the Adidas Adi pure range, they do some lovely boots.

Haha so true, the brown are abit much :) . . A team mate has some Adi-Pures and loves them, they are abit too fancy for me :P Yeah had a quick googley and none other than:

Wears them . . . . Sigh . . . . .

I like the look of some of those Pantofola. Never really heard of the brand before but the Ascoli Vitello take my fancy. The only thing I would say about the ones you posted above is that with the lack of stitching maybe they would loose there shape quite easily.

I guess if you look after them properly they would be fine, but if your like me and leave your boots in your bag after loosing until next Saturday then it may be the problem. I only seem to clean my boots after getting a result.

Yep, I get into a real fowl mood & feel like crawling into a hole when we loose so the boots are not cleaned as religiously as they should be.

Cheers
