Does anyone else think it shouldnt be allowed? Although i dont follow celeb news and gossip ive caught that "Paparazzi" show on bbc3 i think it is a few times and i swear its stalking! The only difference being they have a camera and its classed as work. I think its a bit of a disgrace they are allowed to do it i mean chasing people around allll day snapping photos of very pointless activites.

But how else are we going to get semi-naked pictures of Britney Spears and other various celebrities? ;)

I agree though, it is invading their personal life and generally making it suck. They can't do anything without the world knowing. I know I wouldn't want someone stalking me with a camera, taking pictures of me shopping - it might be nice to start with, but eventually get too invasive.

Well theres very little that can be done about it unless you have massive bodyguards that beat up any cameraman who gets too close! Unfortunately if you are a celebrity its something you have to take with the job!

Has anyone else noticed on that program that when have the 'in car' views just how bad some of the paparazzi's driving is?

I think what annoys me the most is just how sad it seems that people are willing to do it, it just annoys me people can be so pathetic about it.

No, the sad thing is that people buy publications with the photos in.

No market = no job.

Is the program called "Celebs Uncencored" ?
I love that show :D

Ill put it simply, if i was getting paid as much as there were i wouldnt mind people trying to get photos of me when ever they could.

Edit:If it wasnt for the paparazzi most the celebrities wouldnt even have jobs because they wouldnt be as big and well known

I doubt it. After a few months of it, even the lesser well known celeb's start to miss their anonymity.

I don't really follow the celeb-gossip-column-news articles but, I recently saw that on Charllotte Church's first driving lesson they had 3 cars following her, and when she was reverse parking about 3 photographers were shooting her through the window.

IMO thats just rude, and there should be restrictions for things like this.. it's just provoking dangerous driving for one!

Who wants to see paris hitlon full stop?
They still get heaps of photos her :(
Now thats where you need a restriction.

I agree, but how could a ban be enforced?!

A big stick? ;)

lol Seriously though, someone should sit down and devise some set no-go areas for them.

It's quite simple. If someone publishes a picture of someone without there permission then they get prosecuted. Instantly stopped over night, the laws good like that. ;)

I've seen a few episodes of "Paparazzi" on BBC3, and I certainly wouldn't mind doing the job for a living. Flying to exotic locations to take pictures of celebs must be awesome. Did anyone see the episode where there were a couple of paps following Sienna Miller around on a speedboat at the premiere of Casanova? Must have been absolutely brilliant!

I do, however, disagree with the celebrity culture as a whole. I despise the kind of people who buy into the "Find out who [Insert celeb here] is sleeping with, only in this weeks [Insert overpriced gossip magazine here]!" thing, but unfortunately people do, and as such there's a need for paparazzi. I'd find being followed around by cameras quite irritating, but there's no chance of me becoming that kind of celebrity anyway :p

It's legalised stalking, I think its terrible, but in the end thats the price they pay as people for stardom, some shine in this enviroment others kill themselves (i.e. kurt cobain).
