Started with s2 earlier and that first episode after years and years of watching 'random groups' turning up and being bad it took like 15 minutes of them being on screen before started not expecting anything bad to happen with them. Then we got Gary later in the season which went back to the usual trope (thought he might with the actor being the one who was great in Mindhunter)
Pacing felt odd, I'm all for flashbacks but they should have been spread out across more episodes rather than the first 3 being nearly full flashbacks.
Whoever wrote Jane I have to give props to as she's even more unlikely and smug this time around, once you get to the episode about her it's not surprising she's the way she is but she was becoming a bit much,
I wouldn't be surprised if she someone managed to survive being stabbed.
Thought it was building up to time stuff with the little snippets and comments throughout certain episodes but with the season finale it looks to be going all in for s3, not the greatest fan of the whole we can undo everything that's just happened trope, feels bit cheap to the viewer and semi waste of time watching it as come s3 it's going to eventually get reset or it'll do a Marvel and we'll end up in a mirror universe.
I'll certainly give s3 a watch but s2 was a let down compared to what we got with s1 (which was one of my fav shows of 2025) hopefully we don't have to wait too long as they managed to get s2 out a year after s1.
