Anyone into it?

I'm really into climbing and mountaineering, and the prospect of being able to fly down in a few minutes rather then wreck my knees slogging downhill for hours.

Looks like about £1500 for the course and qualifications, and £3-5k for gear? There's a place not far from me that does courses, using a tow line.

I know there's a paragliding club in Derbyshire as they seem to be jumping near castleton every time I'm that way. I'm not in to it though but it seems quite popular.
