I am surprised this hasn't been mentioned in here;

https://www.epicgames.com/paragon/

MOBA style game in third person.

Free to download on PS4 atm however I am not quite sure what you get as I am at work whilst it downloads.

Looks like it could be fun for a casual game with friends, although we all know that secretly means raging hard and losing friends when it comes to MOBAs :p

Well....I don't think I can be bothered with Paragon. Never been so completely and utterly lost in a game interface, even after selecting the "I'm a noob" intro thing.

Desperately needs a better tutorial/introduction, totally off-putting. Straight back to Overwatch for me!

Heh! It truly is some amount of information to take in. Reminds me of those old card games from the 90s with all the different powers but on a larger scale.

I haven't a clue either but I'm going to try and learn it.

That big monster armoured guy was insane that came out of nowhere half way through the learning stage. Rams you with some shield or something. Looks like a space hulk...

Basically (and keep in mind I'd never played a moba before and am still not even 50% sure) you just start and fight stuff until you earn enough card points to place some on the various buttons you can apply them to and then go earn more and keep doing it to power yourself up. Theeeen you get power levels that go up as you get stronger/more exp and you power your certain characters skills up (this is separate from the cards).

Very brief and (probably) hard to understand description from me there but that's it in a very small nutshell.

Then the main part of the game is to help your minions kill their towers and finally core. You can go back to base (R3) for more mana/health anytime and also to add/upgrade cards anytime (with the yellow cards points earned from killing stuff). Took me a few games but I'm loving it at the moment.

I tried playing dota once and was totally lost and couldn't be bothered but I've kinda grasped it this time. Its crossplay too so some of my PC friends can jump on.
