Parallel or serial

Whats the difference in a parallel and serial gfx card bridge?

So parallel = water temp equal going to both gpu's but creates more resistance on flow?
Serial = water goes in first gpu then onto the second and creates less resistance?

I went serial too, seemed easier at the point of fitting.

would be using ek csq bridge, do wouldn't fitting be the same for which ever method??
