Paramore - get the album or not?

Just been watching music TV a bit and Paramore came up, have heard of them a few years ago but just wondering if anyone has the album and if it is worth getting?

Emergency is a very good song though, so it is tempting me to buy it on the strength of the one song.

Been burnt a couple of times recently with new bands, lead singer isnt to bad looking from Paramore though. ;)
 
Just ordered their album, Emergency needs to be put into my archieves for the future at least.

Anyone else got the album though?
 
Based on what I've heard so far, I'd say they've got potential. The drummer is only 15 :eek:

yea i have the album, the album sounds decent (when i comes on in winamp shuffle) lol. The only thing is that she (the lead singer) sounds like Avril.
 
The age does not really bother me if the music is good enough.

Never listen to an album for weeks solid anyway, should be with me tommorrow anyway. :)

Yeh does sound like Avril, but the fact I have both of Avril's albums says something. :p

Hahaha, whatever. There's no need to say "I heard of them years ago" when you haven't. People won't think less of you for saying "I just came across this band", you know. They only jumped to a major a few months back and, as said, they're all very young. They simply haven't been around for "years".

The album is OK. Nothing that's going to keep you listening for ages, but a fair stop-gap.
