I love this idea! It's great to see people thinking ahead and getting tools out this out so they can help people in unfortunate political circumstances. While we in the West may whinge about Big Brother we've got nothing on the various authoritarian states of Asia and South America. This definitely fills a need, both technically and in terms of human rights.

I'm looking forward to trying it when it reaches a level of stability.

Its not just the governments and things though that want all your details and life history. There are plenty of nasty peoples online that want it too. mainly Nigerians it would seem.

I read an article a day or 2 ago where the version of skype for use in skype has been designed to meet china's strict laws so the government can view all conversations.
