On Friday I had a parcel delivered to a neighbour a couple of doors away by Royal Mail. It’s a different parcel to one I mentioned.

Friday, Saturday and today I have rang their doorbell and no answer despite I can hear noises from the property. Saturday morning I hand posted a note with the times I will be in.

How long do I have to wait to I contact the company to resend my order?

A few years ago I did request RM not to leave my parcels at neighbours due to things like this. Has this service stopped?

I honestly cannot work out how you haven't drowned whilst brushing your teeth, the most menial day to day tasks have you creating threads on a computer forum asking for advise, if you aren't able to knock on someone's door to request the parcel they took in for you I'd suggest asking the healthcare assistant who dresses you in a morning if they wouldn't mind nipping round on your behalf.
I did 2 knocks each day and still nothing.

This is why I hate parcels being left with total strangers.

Perhaps they peeked through the curtains, saw it was the serial moaner from a few doors down and decided to ignore you.
I’m not a big moaner outside the forum and work. Customers make us colleagues moan. Especially the elderly who shop Saturday mornings and decide to say “ooh it’s busy”. Why shop then??

Tradition, it's when everybody went big shopping in the old days and it's all ages.
We can now all go at any time we want, even during the night, but some people are stuck in their ways.
Saturday morning about 10am is when you'll see a great big queue leading from the A50, up a slip road on to a Tesco near me, it's rammed and even a massive car park can be full and hard to get a place, if they went at 3pm there would be nobody there.
They could go Sunday morning at 10am and it would be empty and so on.
Me and my wife go at around 11am on a Friday to ALDI, we're virtually on our own.
Just don’t understand why people all have to go to the same shops at the same time.

My parents are retired and only have shopped Saturdays when return from holiday the day before. That’s twice in ten years
