Parcelforce text delivery options

I've got a parcel coming today from Parcelforce and was sent a text this morning asking how I wanted it delivered.

Parcelforce said:
Your Parcel xxxxxxxxx from xxxxxxxxx.com will be delivered by Parcelforce today. Alternatively, reply to this text with on of the options:

1. Deliver to a neighbour
2. Deliver to local Post Office for me to collect
3. Deliver on Thursday 08 May
4. Deliver on Friday 09 May

Does this service actually work, what format are they expecting the response in ? :confused:

They need to either state that in the text or make their system more dynamic to the responses. I can't be the only one that's struggled.

All of these systems expect the number if was obviously just FUBAR on this occasion.
 
I responded to Dpd text saying leave with neighbour and they text me with a link of a photo with the package left by my bins outside with a description of left in garage which I don't have.
