Bit of a rant this.

In january I bought a Marantz CD player off ebay for £200. I received the goods by parcelforce damaged a few days later. The goods were packaged well and there were no obvious signs of damage. So took it to a local dealer for inspection, found that the tracks on the boards inside had been broken, most likely cause was being dropped!

The sender sent all the relevant documentation to parcelforce to do with the claim, as well as a repair quote from the company who looked at it. There was no reply after 2 weeks so I decided to pay for the repair myself as I wasnt going to wait 4+ months to be able to use my new cd player. It is noe 3 months later and after much correspondence with them, they have decided to reject the claim. As the item has been repaired.

Do we are currently appealing agianst this decision, which means I am currently £130 out of pocket. All I can say is that im very angry and unhappy with the service received. They even wanted to carry out a visual inspection of the item! It was completely internal the damage and so I dont know what they were going to gain from this!

So where do I go if the apeal is rejected as well? Any other options open to me? As I cant go round paying for everyone elses incompetance can I!
