So I booked a collection last Wednesday due to be collected on Thursday, stay in all day Thursday and no one shows. I get on to the terrible live chat, get bounced around what I can only presume to be every member of staff that works there and eventually get it rebooked for collection on Friday.

Friday again no show. Bare in mind I have been asking if the courier (DX) have any issues with my address etc. So Friday evening i rinsed and repeat. Stay in Monday yet again no show and the same has happened today. No it has been 5 working days the have cancelled my delivery forcing me to have to pay again and spend yet another day at home.

From my google fu I can see no direct email or phone number only the terrible live chat and even worse ticket system. I have demanded some form of compensation for all my time they have wasted however they simple tell me that they do not offer compensation.

They have issued my refund and it will be with in 3-5 working days.

I refuse to chalk this down to lesson learned due to the amount of time they have wasted. They have been excellent in the past, but this time have falled on every front. Every single response I get is identical word for word pretty much and is some generic script in which they most certainly have barely made an attempt to read my message.

Basically where would any of you go from here? I find it a joke how they say it's their policy not to offer compensation when they have wasted so much of my time. yes I am aware they are just a third party and it most likely boils down to DX's fault but the way they have handled this situation is a joke and is what has ticked me off so much.

They said they would provide a service, they didn't provide said service, you have been refunded for them not providing said service.

The situation seems to be resolved.

You can try and charge them for your time wasted but I suspect you won't get very far.

Just to be pedantic, you say "stay in all day" rather than book time off work. You're not going to get anywhere with claiming compensation for lost time if it was just a free day off. If you had to take time off work (especially unpaid), then you might have a bit more of a complaint. I'd still doubt you'd get anywhere with it.
