Parental Filtering

Hello,

I have a customer who is considering going to Plusnet as they offer parental filter from their end.

Is there software which can be put onto certain routers/ all devices in the home to block certain sites should we say?

you can get some routers that have website blocking built in to the firmware.

netgear do something called gene (if I remember) that allows you to block web sites etc nothing needs installing on to the PC or devices for this to work as they will get a message to say its blocked by the admin

I've just bought a ASUS RT-N66U which has the ability to block websites in the admin panel.

Create a free account with OpenDNS, and block whatever you like (nicely categorised) then use your router to force all DNS to go through it's settings
