Just to check that there is no better option currently going.
I was going to install a better cpu into their s939 system, but have managed to persuade them that intels newer platform will be better for them.
Nothing is really reusable, apart from it will be going in the same case for the time being.
YOUR BASKET
1 x Samsung Green (MV-3V4G3D/US) 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz 30nm Dual Channel Kit £59.99
1 x Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 500W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £47.99
1 x **B Grade** Asus P8Z68-V GEN3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 (MB-493-AS) £40.00
Total : £159.97 (includes shipping : £10.00).
I'm donating my old celeron and a Sata HDD for them to use as well. Also, the Samsung Green is for my machine and they're having my old Kingston set.
Is it worth them spending an extra ~£60 for an SSD or would it be better to stick with a mechanical for the time being?
