Going to be going to Paris in a couple of months for the weekend with the gf, and need opinions on the best districts to stay in. We'll be visiting all the normal tourist spots, and ideally want to stay in an area where all of the tourist areas are easily accessible. so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, all will be welcome.

NOT THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT unless you're into that kind of thing. That's the Sacre Coeur/Moulin Rouge end. I stayed near the Arc De Triomphe and that was good.
