Paris games week

Its GT5 prologue all over again isn't it?

Hasn't that studio learnt - GT sport is going to be a fancy way to release half a GT game - wait and see..!! Prove me wrong PD

GT sport. No idea what that is...

GT Sport will most likely be a motorsports-focused GT. So kind of a Prologue, in the sense that it will probably be using the GT7 engine and assets and some of the tracks and all, but it will be revolve around actual racing disciplines and not just some mishmash of events like most GT games have.

So think something like Project Cars career mode. It sounds like there's going to be proper league structures and whatnot too, for online competition.

Sounds nice, but it's a huge bummer because it means we probably wont see GT7 proper til like 2018. 2017 if we're very lucky.

What did you guys think of Boundless? There's a bit of grumbling about it being a minecraft / Non Man's Sky rip off but it looks great to me. If it has co-op and I can go on exploring missions with my mates then I'll be all over it.

I really didn't get any sense of what you actually do in the game, so I dont know yet. Looks pretty enough and I like the concept of the portal windows to other worlds, but it'll come down to how fun the gameplay is for me.

Do you think it'll offer any type of offline racing as well?

Same here. In my mind's eye it's a 3D Terraria - full of co-op exploring and collecting stuff. If that's what it turns out to be it will be dangerous!

Terraria was more than just co-op and collecting stuff, though. It had some fun combat, interesting building gameplay, a clear sense of progression, different strata of environments with different materials(encouraging exploration further), interesting boss fights, and even game-changing difficulty aspects.

I have NO IDEA what you do in this game, though. Not a clue. All they've hinted at was that you can walk through portals and use a grappling hook sort of mechanic. But nothing to suggest what you'll actually spend your time doing in the game. Which is honestly the most important aspect of any game. What do you freaking do?

I can't wait to get to play Wild and Dreams, from what we've been shown they look magnificent.
No Man's Sky is still at the top of my wanted list, hopefully everyone's insanely high expectations doesn't make them rush to release an unfinished game.

Really looking forward to next year.
