Paris Olympics 2024

This will only stop when women walk out when a MTF trans person is entered in their events.
Why should it be up to the women to make a stand against this though? It shouldn't even be a talking point imo. Trans atheletes, within a pyhsical sport should'nt be allowed to infiltrate sport like this. Trans people make the choice to become what they want to be, but there should be a concious understanding that it excludes them from
sport, where there will always be a physical advantage against women. You can't promote equality if you're activley against equality, because this is what is becoming of womens sport, where equality is only serving diversity, and to hell with women. Utterly shameful imho.

Lin Yu-Ting is another one set to fight tomorrow, also what is this so called test done to get the go ahead?

Still going through the courts seemingly. Women have quite strong protections to access to sport in the US so I would imagine they’ll win the case.
Dont think so, the swimming community and governing body has seen sense and banned ex-men from competing.

looks like he wasn't even trying to avoid her punches knowing they could do nothing

never seen a woman boxer with an arm like it?
but they let the fight happen....

The guy is pathetic....
maybe if you were taking estrogen since before puberty or something... it could be fair but idk

What happens if someone sets mens world records, then becomes a woman and breaks the female records?
Do they void the mens?

Upon further investigation, given that being gay or transgender is illegal in Algeria, it seems as though she is actually biologically female with unusually high levels of testosterone.

If this is true (i.e. this isn't even a trans issue) then there are going to be an awful lot of people with egg on their faces.

At what point to we say we rule people out of competition given their natural genetic advantages?

Intersex ?

Yeah it sounds like she isn't actually trans. A lot of people jumped the gun on this one. Though the IOC probably should be more transparent with their testing.

BBC Sport article is quite comprehensive

A lot of people have jumped the gun and made themselves sound rather silly in the process.

Are we sure this isn't a dude? They said on the radio earlier that he has XY chromosomes. At the very least this dude has been smashing the PEDs / test.

Hopefully karma exists and he gets his nose knocked into Monday in the next round.
