Spent 4 days in Paris last week, had a great time despite some pretty miserable weather; it was either overcast, rainy or foggy most of the time.

Below are a selection from the trip but more can be found in the following set:

It was the first time around a city (apart from Newcastle) with the camera and I really need to more confident in taking some more 'candid' photos - but I think that will come with time.

What kit were you using?

Thanks very much. Was using a 600d with the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8. We were doing a lot of walking so travelled light; no other lenses or tripod. Really wished I had a tripod though when we were up the Tour Montparnasse.

Nicely done, not a fan of the heavy vignette though.

Thanks Mr.Stu. I flipflop between liking and hating vignetting. I really need to get my monitor calibrated as the level of vignette is changing depending on where I am viewing the images.

You've certainly got steadier hands than I have, if you're not using a tripod! No way I'd get some of those without a lot of movement sadly

It's not numbered but it was taken from the top of Tour Montparnasse. Amazing views of the city, it was literally round the corner from where we were staying. That's where the rainbow pictures were taken too
